Tura, June 30: The Police of West Garo Hills on Saturday intercepted one vehicles near Kherapara in West Garo Hills District and from these vehicles they found many arms and ammunition, and three person where arrested.
The police become suspicious of these vehicles form the way the drivers drive the it which is unusual. From the occupant of these vehicles the police recover two pistol and huge ammunition and many document.
From the document the police has proof that the three person whom they arrested are members of the band outfit Garo National Liberation Army.
The police in the entire GaroHills has step up extra Virgil after the GNLA has threaten to attacked police personal due to the pressure put by the law enforcing to counter militancy activities in Garo Hills.(SP News)
