Shillong, Nov 21: The police of South West Khasi Hills District after getting specific information that some members of the militant out fit belonging to the Hynniewtrep National Liberation Council (HNLC) are moving to the District the police laid trap and they were arrested from the Bus from Jakrem.
The police of South West Khasi Hills said that these four people were identified as Sakharia Thnongi of Mawpdiang Village under Mawsynram police station, Pynshailang Nonglang, Phrenklinwell Syiemlieh and Pholdenstar Nonglang under Mawkyrwat police station, they are from Nonglang Village.
According to the police they said they first arrested Sakharia and Pholdenstar from the Bus from Jakrem and from them they could recover on air bag and from the Bad they got one letter head of the HNLC which was laminated sign by the Finance Secretary R Kharkongor.
Base on these confession of these two members that let to the arrest of Pynshailang and Phrenklinwell from the Village Nonglang of Sotuh West Khasi Hills District. The interrogation is on said the police.
The police said that Sakharia was an active members of the HNLC earlier but he was arrested and was book under MPDA and hes was kept under Williamnagar Jail till he was released.(SP News)
