Shillong, August 03: The Police today early morning raided Mawting village and arrested eight person who were alleged in the FIR that they have force Halorsing Kharumnuid to eat Dog excreta on the 30 of last month.
The eight people are relative of Halorsing who suspected him of practicing witchcraft and evoking evil spirit at Mawting village, the eight people who were arrested by the police include , Broswel Pyngrope , Elbinus Mylliemngap ,SanilMylliemngap, Rani Kharumnuid , Mildret Kharumnuid, Khrawbor Kharumnuid And Johny Kharumnuid of Mawtieng Village .
Police said that the incident took place on the 30th of last month, these eight person are relative of Halorsing caught hold of him and kept in one isolation place and beaten him and force to eat Dog excreta on that day.
Halorsing on the 2th of this month file an FIR with the Sohryngkham police station acting on the FIR the police today raided the Mawting Village and arrested them form their village.(SP News)
