Shillong, Oct 31: The police of Shillong City today arrested four people for attacking the police and the court official at Lapalang recently.
The arrested person were identified as Uma Shankar Rai 25, Ramji Rai 50 , Suraj Rai 32 and Lallu Rai 45. All the four has already produce in the court today and the court granted for six days police custody.
Sources said that the police along with the magistrate recently want to Lapalang to a locality call the Bihari Colony but to the surprise the people who were in the area attacked the police and the magistrate.
The police take strong note of the incident and tried to fine out thus people who were involved in the attacked after identifying in the person the police arrested them today.(SP News)
