Shillong, April 13: The Meghalaya state police after their hard work manage to arrest the two KSU members who where accused of kidnapped and Murder of the labourer at Mawiong last year.
According to the SP of the East Khasi Hills District M Kharkrang said that the duo tried to escape from the police. The two co-accused were KSU education secretary Patrick Cecil Thangkhiew and Damayan Skhemiew, member of the KSU Mawiong unit the police said.
Last year after the incident, police had arrested KSU vice president Banker Nongkseh, finance secretary Anthony Warbah a driver T Marngar, It may be mentioned that five KSU members had assaulted three construction workers after they failed to produce valid documents of their citizenship.
SP said that the two co-accused have been remanded in ten-day police custody for further interrogation.(SP News)
