Shillong, May 25: The Meghalaya Police after suspecting that drugs smugglers are in and around Golf Link the police round up the area and arrested three suspected drug peddlers.
The arrested person are Santosh Rai, Suresh Thapa and Khrawbok Sylliang from their position police seized one local taxi having the registration number ML-05E-5030, one Golden Tobacco container, with 1.11 gram suspected Heroin, three empty containers and one burnt silver foil.
In another break through the Police arrested three persons, Tadius R. Sangma, Chabis R. Marak and Raju K. Marak while they were attempting to extort money from coal truck operators at Riangdo Area in West Khasi Hills District.(SP News)
