Shillong, May 22: On 09/05/2014 at 8:30 AM one unidentified dead body with head injury was found lying inside the water drain at Langkyrding Nongmynsong, Shillong. Later the dead body was identified as of (L) Shambu Ray (28 yrs) S/O (Lt) Ramanand Ray of Mawlai Nonglum Block-I, Shillong.
After a thorough investigation, the person who committed the murder, Shri Welborn Sohtun (22yrs) S/o (Lt) Sylverius Kharnaior of Langkyrding, Mihing, Shillong was arrested. The investigation indicated personal enmity as the motive of the crime.(SP News)
