Nongstoin, Sept 16: The Hynniewtrep Achick National Movement (HANM) of West Khasi Hills District marched to the Deputy Commissioner Office of West Khasi Hills District to hold dharna but on it way the police stop them.
The chief organizer of the organization of the West Khasi Hills District Paul Kharbani said that more than hundred of it members marched to the DC office but own its way they were stop by the police.
The organization did not give up complete their dharna at the Basketball Court New Nongstoin. The chief organizer said that the district administration has stop peaceful protest.
The organization will hold it meeting today and they will decide the future course of action. The scuffle has taken place between the police and the HANM members before entering the DC Office.(SP News)
