Shillong, April 27: The office of the Superintendent of Police has informed that vehicles were found parking in and off road from IGP junction to Keating road for a long period of time and are obstructing the free flow of traffic.
In a press cominuque issued here on Friday, Superintendent of Police, East Khasi Hills M Kharkrang informed that these vehicles were in a dilapidated condition and was found parking along the stretch from IGP point to Keating road.
Altogether, there were six vehicles which include two Tata Sumo bearing a registration number ML-05 B-5688, ML-05 C- 5588, two maruti van one whose number cannot be made out and another is ML-05 B- 9460, one Santro ML 05-G 3273 and a maruti taxi ML 05-F- 2828.
In connection to this the SP requested the owners of the vehicles to remove them immediately failing which action as per provisions of law will be taken.(SP News)
