Williamnagar, August 07: Today at around 8.30 in the morning when the police vehicles BP Truck ML02-0756 was coming from Nengkhra towards Williamnagar bomb blast occurred when the police personal passing on the road.
In the incident the police vehicles was partially damage but it was still in running condition. The bomb explored at the time when the bullet proof passing on the road at Nengkhra. There was no casualty in the incident.
According to the information received from the Superintendent of police East Garo Hills said that the bomb was planted in a culvert and the militant used the flash gun of a camera to detonate the bomb.
From the site the police have recovered blue electronic wire which about 30 metter long which used in the blast splinter of the bomb was also recover from the site. The militant has palce two IEDs bomb but one did no explore.
The police have lunched massive combing operation in the areas to nap the culprt who are involved in the bomb blast. (SP News)
