Addressing a group of Rangbah Shnongs (Headman) from various localities of the East Khasi hills District, at the meeting at the DGP office, Kharkhrang called upon the Dorbar heads to work in tandem with the police department in fighting down crime.

“In most of the drug related cases, when we reached the spot the accused is already searched by the dorbar head and the drugs are found in the hands of the people who caught them which weakens the case in court and the drug peddler escapes conviction.”
