Shillong, Sept 24: The office of the Block development Officer of Mawryngkneng today averted from arson with the presence of the police at the office since the alleged KSU members intended to set on fire the office.
The police said that the vechile number ML06 2771 an alto enter the office of the BDO but on seeing the police the vehicles flet away from the premised. The police chased the vehicles and intercepted at Mawmang.
The police arrested the driver from the interrogation the river Banskhemlang Syiemlieh reveal that in the vehicles the vice president of the KSU of the Mawryngkneng Unit Mr Peter Lawai come to the office to commit arson. The police is on the look out for the KSu Members.(SP News)
