Williamnagar, Oct 27: Today early in the morning the police, SWAT and the Cobra raided the house of the Commander In Chief of the Militant outfit GNLA at the village Chachathre in East Garo Hills District, in this raid the police have seized huge material from his residence.
The most important seizers by the police in this raid is the satellite phone, the Bangladesh Taka, the personal Diary of the Commander In Chief and 39 detonators that use in bomb explosion. In this connection the brother in law of Sohan D Shira was arrested.
The raid was conducted at around 4 am in the morning and they have seized lot of electrical equipment arms and ammunition, the items one 9mm, country made pistol 2 mags, 16 bullet of 9mm lives amunation, 4 claymore box 15 meters safety fuse wire, 39, detonators, 23 mobile phone, 34 batteries, 1 sonny Digital camera, one Kodak digital camera , 1 portable colour monitor, one roll of speaker cable, one roll PCB wire.
The police also recover 11 assorted sim cards, 4 solar charger led light, 2 jars of assorted electrical equipment, I micro max tablet, 2 electrical measuring devise, 5 internet dongles, 1 dairy of sohan, 1 Satellite phone, 2 register maintaining account , 1 set of uniforms , list of MPDA GR numbor , 2 electrical convertor lots of flexible wire.
The police also seized Rs.3,34,100/- Indian currency and Bangladesh currency 63000/- Taka. The police arrested the brother in law of The GNLA Commander in Chief , Ponte Ch Momin.(SP News)
