Shillong, Nov 19: The Meghalaya police today have arrested one of the member of the political party Khun Hynniewtrep National Awakening Movement (KHNAM) for his alleged instigation at the CSWO meeting held at Student Filed on the 25th September.
The police was looking to arrest him since that day but he managed to slipped from the police net, but today the police mange to arrest him from Springside said the SP of the East Khasi Hills M Kharkrang.
The police level the allegation against Mr Kharbuli that the illegal procession that took place on the day that the CSWO hold meeting at Student is because of his instigating speech which let to the pelting of stone at Motphran where few police personal were injured in the incident.
The police also confirm his political link to the KHNNAM party. Kharbuli has escape from the police hand from Nongthymmai Nongshilliang when the police tried to arrest him during the marriage ceremony.(SP News)
