Shillong, Jan 22: The office of the District Medical and Health officer East Khasi Hills Shillong will conduct the National Pulse polio immunization program 2014 all over the District.
The goal of the program is to eradicate poliomyelitis and to vindicate all children under five years of age against polio virus in the District in particular and the state as whole.
The first of the program will be held on the 27th Jan 2014 from 9 am to 4pm in the arrange booth thought out the District, to be followed by the house to house search and coverage activities from 28th to 29th of this month.
All parents are therefore requested to bring the children below five years of age to the arrange booth in the respective locality for vaccination. (SP News)
