Shillong, Aug 5: The 6th Inter Shillong Cultural Meet organised by the Rabindranath Tagore Club came to close on Sunday amidst galore and fanfare at U Soso Tham Auditorium.
The event which kicked started on June 16 ended their cultural meet on Sunday marked the celebration of Belated Birth Anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore in collaboration with Laban Bengalee Boys’ Higher Secondary School and Prize Distribution Ceremony of the event cum Souvenir Release function.
The Competitions was started on June 16 to July 7. There were around 553 participants, out of which 191 participants were awarded with prizes. The Prizes was Sponsored by Shillong South legislator Sanbor Shullai.
Addressing the gathering, local MLA Sanbor Shullai who attended the function as the Chief Guest lauded the Rabindranath Tagore Club stating that they are doing a great job through socially and culturally for the betterment of the Students.(SP News)
