Shillong, March 08: On the second day of conference, a series of informal meetings were held between delegation of BGB led by Brig General Md. Habibul Karim, ndc, psc, and Indian delegates led by Shri Sudhir Kumar Srisvastava , Inspector General BSF, Guwahati on 07th March 2014. The issues relating to measures for effective check on trans-border criminals to ensure security of border population were discussed in length, in cordial atmosphere. The issues were deliberated upon with facts and it was amicably decided to intensify simultaneous coordinated patrolling in already identified vulnerable and sensitive areas, prone to criminal activities.
