Shillong, Nov 23: The residence of Mawlasnai area in Ri Bhoi District border Block II of Assam met their local MLA Mr Julius K Dorphang and requested him that the people of the area want to have a Bank for the public connivances.
Along with the village elders social organization like the RUPA, HYNF from the Ri Bhoi District in the meeting with the Local MLA they have express that for the over all economic development of the area they want a bank at Mawlasnai.
In the meeting the Local MLA Mr Dorphang assured them that he will take up the issued with the authority concern to open the bank in the area for the economic development of the people.(SP News)
