Shillong: In a noble initiative taken in the industrial part of Meghalaya the RNB Cement in collaboration with Dorbar shnong Umiam and CMJ Brewers Pvt Ltd organised a youth football training camp at MeCL Football ground Umiam here on Saturday.
The football training camp aimed at imparting thebest quality training programme for young lads between the age group of 8 to 16 years.
The year long training will be provided by the well respected coach.
It was also learnt that the main objective behind this corporate social responsibility programme is to enlighten the young talents about teh modern day football techniques and skills that will help these young players make a mark in future. ‘
The Joint Managing director Gaurav Bajaj said, “Football is a very popular sports among the youth in the North East” adding that it is a hub for young footballers.
Bajaj also hopes that industrialist in the state should get together to help the youth fulfill their sporting dreams.
The Group believes in serving the society, which is why it is involved in a number of social initiatives, Bajaj added.
