Shillong, March 5: Senior Congress leader Rowell Lyngdoh has been appointed as Pro-tem Speaker of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly by Governor RS Mooshahary on Tuesday.

Lyngdoh will perform his duties of the Speaker till the election of a new Speaker of the House. He will be administered oath on Wednesday at the Raj Bhavan at 11 am.(SP News)
