Shillong, May 10:Royal Group of Institution (RGI), Guwahati organised a one day long career counselling programme for students of Shillong on Friday at Pinewood hotel. The programme witnessed participation of 180 students including parents and guardians.
The programme provided them a much-needed platform to learn about varied career options to pursue their future studies in different faculties and institutions on the launching day of the programme, which was inaugurated by Paraben Malhotra Principal, Royal Group of institution, Professor Dr Mukesh Barua Principal of Global School along with the Royal Arup Mukaupadhyay and Royal Group of Schools representatives were also present.
The objective of the programme was to assist students in making right career choice by providing them with multifaceted career-related information, multiple options available in different subjects, basic qualification needed and future prospects in tune to their academic strength.
Paraben Malhotra Principal said, “If all the 180 students – who underwent this programme- opt for higher studies in their specific areas of interest and strength, then its objective will be achieved.”
Dr Mukesh Barua Principal of Global School said that every subject has its own strength and success depends on how passionately you pursue it. “If your objective is clear and you choose the right course to pursue your action plan, God will help you to achieve that goal; hence, always follow your dream and chase it with passion to succeed in life.” (SP News)
