Shillong, April 10: With an aimed to promote Electronic Dance Music (EDM) besides providing platform for talented musicians of the state and upcoming young talented artists: Skratch entertainment in collaboration with Insomnia, is organizing the first of its kind event called ‘First Coalition Project’.
Addressing a press conference on Wednesday, Skretch entertainment co-founders, Hesper Wahlang said that Shillong has already got a big tag of to be called the ‘Rock Capital of India’.
“An event as such will give young talents a platform and infact give them a chance to take music as a profession,” Wahlang said.
He also informed that the event will be organized at Orchid Resort, Umiam and the timing of the show will be from 1Pm to 10Pm and the price of the tickets will be Rs 700 and Rs 300 accordingly.
Another member and event coordinator, C Kyndiah said that the management has taken extra precautions with regards to security issues.
“We have spoken to traffic department for the traffic arrangements and also with the bouncers association,” Kyndiah said adding “No liquors will also be allowed to be brought in from outside. If anybody wants to quench their thirst limited drinks will be made available in the venue.”(SP News)
