Shillong, Dec 18: Sports and Youth Affairs minister Zenith Sangma on Wednesday laid the foundation stone for the Multipurpose Indoor Sports Hall at Golf Link.
The foundation stone laying ceremony was organized by the Pynthorumkhra Dorbar sanong Shillong.
This is an initiative by the Meghalaya Government to develop sportmenship among the youth in the state and attract them to participate more in Sports activities.
It may be reminded that youth in Meghalaya are more attracted to sports and youth affairs minister Zenith Sangma said that this Multipurpose Indoor Sports Hall will help to facilitate the sporting activities in the state capital. Large number of people specially from the locality youths participated in the event.(SP News)
