State Bank of India opened its 94th Branch in Meghalaya at Smit

Smit, Nov 17: State Bank of India opened its 94th Branch in Meghalaya at Smit, East Khasi Hills on satuarday,  Shri Lambor Malngiang, MDC formally inaugurated the Branch in the presence of Farooque Shahab, General Manager (Network II), and Shri Deepak Kumar Lalla (Deputy General Manager). Assistant General Managers Shri K.J.V. Nagaraja and Smt Anjeli Lyndem were also present on the occasion.  An ATM has also been set up in the building, which will be the first ATM in the area.

A large gathering of local population highlighted the success of the inaugural function. Smt Eva Nengminza Sangma is the first Branch Manager of the Branch. (SP News)
