Shillong, July 03: The district administration is seized of the matter related to price rise of certain commodities in the recent past.
the district level price monitoring committee headed by the DC sits regularly every 15 days to monitor the prices which are fixed accordingly in respect of certain important commodities.
PFA the latest rates fixed yesterday.
Any instance of higher charging may be brought to the notice of the DC or the supply staff of the DC office.
Also strict warning is issued against anybody trying to hoard these commodities to create artificial shortage.
