Sub-Inspector RA Sangma cannot be trace govt tell commission

Shillong, November 10:   The commission has fix today to call the Sub – Inspector Shri RA Sangma as one of the witness in the   entire episode of the Shillong Jail Break, but surprisingly it appears from the  letter No.CRM/IV-19/26-09/2977 dated Jowai 7th November 2012 inform the commission that the sub-inspector could not be trace.

From the government side inform the commission that they have sent a WT Message to the OC of Tura and the Tura police station inform that they have sent the message to the wife of the sub-inspectoer Smti Jennie M Sangma at her residence Upper Wadanang Tura, but till date the commission is in the dark of where he is about.

However MS Poonam Yadav who appearing on behalf of the SCAMOD has submitted that they themselves will take up step to take up the issued, but  the commission  said that the commission work cannot  be delay since they have to submit the report to the government  by 7th December 2012.

This arrangement was made well ahead of time since the commission will expired on the 11th January 2013 and the government will not extend the time. At the mean while if SI R A Sangma can be trace down he will be brought before the commission before 11 AM on the 20th November 2012.

MS Poonam asked the commission to give public notice to all local newspapers in this regard on one issued in the English daily  for non-appearance of Shri R A Sangma before the Commission.  (SP News)
