Shillong, Nov 12: The 58 GTC archers have done it again. The 58 GTC Archers have again made Meghalaya proud by winning the 21st Senior National Archery Championship held at Jabalpur Madhaya Pradesh from 9 to 12 of this month Defeating Manipur in the final by a score of 209 vs 202.
The team was representing Meghalaya in the championship. A total of 35 teams participated in the most prestigious tournament of ‘Indian round archery’.
The team comprised of Havaldar Chandera Prasad Gurung, Hav Captan Singh, Rifleman Santosh Thapa, Rif Pukar Thapa. It may be recalled that 58 GTC archers had also won the previous edition of the national championship as well, held in Raipur in April 2013.(SP News)
