The ANVC (B) wants the commander in chief of the GNLA in the peace process

 

Tura, July 15: The The Achik National Volunteer Council-Breakaway (ANVC-B) in a press statement circulated to section of the Media today said that they want  the commander in chief of the band out fit Garo National Liberation Council (GNLA) Sohan D Shira to be part of the peace process to bring back peace in Garo Hills, said the publicity secretary of the ANVC(B) DD Shira.

The ANVC(B) is willing to bring Sohan to mainstream with the support from the people of Garo Hills and include the GNLA leaders to part in the singing of the peace pact. This could bring a lasting peace in the Garo Hills Region.

The ANVC(B) is ready to include the GNLA leader Sohan D Shira in the peace process. The recent  iniciative taken by the District administration, Church leaders, Senior Citizen, NGO’s and Local representative in restoring peace in the Meghalaya-Assam border this has made them thing to bring a greater lasting peace in GaroHills.

The Publicity Secretary of the ANVC(B) call upon the C-In-C of the GNLA to come and be part of the peace process. From the ANVC(B) they are willing to accept  and forget the pass  in order to   bring peace in Garo Hills. (SP News)
