Shillong, July 18: The Block Development Officer, Community and Rural Development Block, Nongstoin has informed that the Art and Culture Competition at the Block Level will be organized at the N.S.S.S Hall Bishop’s House New Nongstoin on the 6th August 2013. The Competitions for Schools and Colleges includes Quiz, Creative writing, Cartooning, Painting, Folk Song, Folk Dance and Indigenous instrumental. The Clubs and organizations are also invited to compete in Folk Song, Folk Dance and Indigenous instrumental only.
The winners in each item will be selected to participate in the Annual Arts and Culture Festivals to be held in the State Headquarter, Shillong sometime in the month of September.
All Schools, Colleges and Clubs under Nongstoin C&RD Block interested to participate in the Competitions are requested to submit the list of the participants to the Office of the Block Development Officer, Nongstoin on or before the 19th July 2013.
