Shillong, Oct 09: The State BJP welcomes the decision of the NGOs to suspend their agitation on the issue of implementation of ILP (Inner Line Permit) on the occasion of Durga Puja festival scheduled from 10th October to 16th of this month.
The BJP further urge upon the government to take extra measures to check the miscreants trying to create Law and Order problem and try to disturb the festival mood in the State in general and capital city in particular.
The State BJP wishes the people of the State a warm Durga Puja and believes that peace and prosperity will remain in the State during the festival days.(SP News)
