Shillong, April 02: Mr. P. B. O. Warjri, Additional Chief Secretary, Govt. of Meghalaya along with the State officials during a meeting with the visiting members of the Board of Investment, Thailand led by Mr. Tharadol Thongruang, Minister Counsellor (Commercial), Royal Thai Embassy, New Delhi to study about the investment opportunities in the State held at the Main Secretariat today.
Sources told SP News Agency that With the look east policy from the government of India the Thailand Government look North East and Meghalaya In particular as one of the area where they can came and in vest in this State particularly in the mines and energy sectors.
The Government of Thailand look to North East as their Destination for investment, since they could not compete the country like Japan, South Korea in the East, Thailand is not a develop country but its is a fast developing county among the South East Asian Countries.(SP News)
