Shillong, August 17: The Public Work department (PWD) government of Meghalaya has sent the proposal to the Commerce and Industry department that they want to revise again about the cost of construction of Borsora Road which is one of the major export point in Meghalaya.
The Director of Commerce and Industry department Mr W Langstang said that from the department has tried their level best to developed all the land costume station in the state and Borsora is one of the land costume station which the central government used to inquired.
He said that the department has already place the money with the PWD long time back and the work was also started to strengthen the road from Lai-Lad to Borsora but the work is so slow at till date the work is yet to be completed.
The Director also inform that the revise estimate has been don twice and the PWD has again asked to revise the estimate for the third time which put the department in a dilemma what to do with these road.
The founding for these road was funded by the central government and the department has to hand over to the PWD to carried out the work.(SP News)
