Shillong, Oct 14: The Police of Ri Bhoi District has arrested the president of the RBYF of the Kyrdemkulai Unit in connection with public nuisance and he was book under the Meghalaya Maintenance of Public Order Act.
In anther incident Smt. Tadingra T. Sangma, SDO, PHE, RWS Sub-Division lodged a complaint at Baghmara PS that unknown miscreants stole twenty-eight GI pipes valued around Rs. 60,540/- from Duminikura WSS (SGH).
Regarding recovery of four dead bodies from a coal quarry at 5th Mile (SWKH). Further reports indicated that the names of the deceased are, Wanphai Nongkynrih 54 yrs, Happy You Kharjahrin 20 yrs, Biangborlin Sangriang 25 yrs and Shiningstar Mawlieh 30 yrs.(SP News)
