The BSF nabbed the linkman of the militant ULFA and NDFB

Shillong, jan 31: BSF troops of BOP Kachuadogri, deployed in South West Garo Hills distt of Meghalaya apprehended one Bangladeshi NDFB/ULFA linkman while he was trying to crossover to Bangladesh in a stolen Bajaj Pulsar 150cc (ML 07-A9637), the linkman identified as Kanu Koch (24 yrs) s/o Genendra Koch r/o vill-Nokchi, po-Rangtia, ps-Jinaighti, dist-Sherpur, Bangladesh. During search, Indian currency Rs. 195/-, 01 USA Coin, 01 Plass cutter was recovered from his possession. Kanu Koch confessed that he was working for NDFB and ULFA outfit as OGW.

During last week, BSF troops on Meghalaya border also apprehended 04 Bangladeshi nationals and 02 Indian national and seized 989 Btls Liquor, 10 Nos Cattle heads, Forest produce and other contraband items worth over Rs. 2 Lacs while being smuggled out from India to Bangladesh.

Apprehended persons and seized items have been handed over to concerned department for further disposal and legal action as per law of the land.(SP News)
