Shillong, March 14: The Chief Executive Member(CEM), of the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) Mr Ardent Miller Basaiawmoit today allotted portfolio to his Executive Members, where he has equally distributed to it collation partners.
The CEM, kept to himself the department of Finance, Land, Forest, General Administration, Appointment, Posting and Transfer and any maters not allotted to any executive Members.
The Deputy Chief Executive members from the United Democratic Party (UDP) Mr Teinwell Dkhar, got Development, Planning, and Arts and Cultural. The KHNAM mr Latiplang Kharjongor, got Trade and Enforcement.
Others executive Members Mr K Phlasting Pangniang from the HSPDP got Elaka Adminstration and Revenue collection, Mr James Ban Basaiawmoit of KHNAM, got Labour License and Resource mobilization, Mr L Goodleaderson Nongsiej of the HSPDP, got Transport, Information and Technology and Town Committee.
Smti Grace M Kharpuri of HSPDP, got Taxation and Education, Mr Process T Sawkmie of KHNAM, got Water resources and Fisheries, Mr Hadrian Lyngdoh of UDP, got Council Building and Public Health and Sanitation, Mr Donkupar Sumer of UDP, got Market, Mines and Minerals and Youth Affair and Smti Rona Khymdeit of the UDP, got Law and Legal matters and Marriage and Divorce.(SP News)
