Shillong, March 25: The Chief executive members of the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) Mr Ardent Miller Basaiawmoit present the vote on account for the year 2014-1015 for the period of three month amount to Rs.15,24,82,460 /-.
The KHADC got nine department, The general administration department earmark Rs.3.73 crore , Law Department Rs.11.73 lakh, Revenue Budget and Finance Department Rs.1.03 crore, Forest administration department Rs.1.28 crore, administration of justice and judicial department Rs. 58.29 lakh.
The Legislative department Rs. 76. 26 lakh, Education Department Rs.1.77 lakh, Civil work and Development Department Rs.6.98 crore, Enforcement scheme for protection of tribal land and interest Rs.71.44 lakh.
The Chief Executive member Mr Basaiawmoit in his speech said that the amount present today it will be for three month started from 1st April to 30th June. The amount is earmark for the development purpose and payment of sally to the Executive members and the staff of the Council.
The discussion for the vote an account will take place tomorrow, members who want to submit cut-motion can submit to the office of the legislative today told Smti Telinia Thangkhiew Chairperson of the KHADC. (SP News)
