Shillong, Sept 13: The Central Media Units of Meghalaya such as the PIB, DAVP, DFP, AIR, DDK and S& DD will organize the Public Information Campaign (PIC) on Bharat Nirman Programmes of the Govt. of India such as the NRHM, SSA, MMP, Food Security, Direct Benefits Transfer, etc. at Tynring Football Ground, E. Khasi Hills District on Sept. 18, 19 & 20, 2013 daily from 10.30 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. in collaboration with the District administration to make the rural people aware of the Central schemes being implemented for their welfare. The campaign will feature programme like seminars, interactive sessions and exhibitions by govt. departments and cultural programmes.
The campaign will be inaugurated by Shri David Nongrum, MLA and Chairman, Meghalaya Tourism Development Corporation, on Sept. 18 at 11.00 a.m. as the Chief Guest.(SP News)
