SHILLONG, June 26: The newly constructed concrete flooring of Shillong City Bus Syndicate Stand, Mawlonghat was inaugurated on Wednesday.
Inaugurated by the Chief Managing Director of NEEPCO, PC Pankaj the flooring of the bus stand was constructed under the NEEPCO, CSR-CD Scheme 2012-13.
Speaking on the occasion, Pankaj said that with the construction made it has proved very useful for the general people of the area.
“NEEPCO would like to do more for the people of the state. Facilities such as toilets and other services which helps can help the people can be made available if the we (NEEPCO), are given a portion of land in order to place our own plans,” Pankaj said.
Others who spoke on the occasion were, President of Syndicate Bus Stand, B Warjri and General Secretary of the stand, S Warbah.(SP News)
