Shillong, August 20: The Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) today observed the 69th birth anniversary of Late prime minister Rajiv Gandhi at the Congress Bhavan Shillong.
The Working President of the MPCC who was also minister in charge social welfare Smti Debora CH Marak in her address to the party workers said that late prime minister Rajiv Gandhi has a dream fro the Indian Nation and he has work hard to achive that change by bring many reforms during his prime ministership.
The change that he has initiated during his tenure was seen today in our daily life. The Change in the information technology, education, systematize the schedule tribe list in the country and most important the relationship between India and the United State of America.
Mr Donpkupar War in his speech he said that late Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi has done a lot for the nation which the country should remember him. Others speakers who spoke on the occasion recall about his contribution to the nation. But his untimely dimes have left his vision uncomplet.(SP News)
