Guwahahti, August 07: The continuous agitation for separate state demand by Bodos Koach Rajbonshi community including Karbi-anglong, have somehow have affected the business of EID, in Guwahati. The long hour bandh and uncertainty have stopped vehicles plying on the roads, and thus goods not reaching the market. This is dampening the business man in this festive ocassion of Eid, Feels businessmen, and urges organisations not to call bandh on this festive mood.
However the Bodos,and other organisation in the Bodoland fighting for separate statehood have called off the Bnadh for EID.But the prior action did affect the market.
The common people however hopeful that EID celebration will go well besides this problems. Last year the Kokrajhar Clash had take Place, but Eid was celebrated well says,Md. Shamim, who had come for Eid Market in Guwahati.
The Bandh really affected the Busines man says, Khalek Ahmed,a vendor in
Guwahati.”The Bandh calls should be there in the Eid season as it affects the
