Williamnagar, Sept 15: East Garo Hills District Administration invites Applications in the prescribed format from the students belonging to East Garo Hills District who are taking or planning to take Coaching andTraining for Competitive Examinations and also coaching for Entrance Examinations to Professional Courses.
Application can also be personally obtained from Office of Deputy Commissioner, East Garo Hills Dt., Williamnagar.
The objective of the scheme is to support students belonging to East Garo Hills District who are taking or planning to take Coaching/Training for Competitive Examinations and also coaching for Entrance Examinations to Professional Courses in the form of fixed stipend.
The students taking coaching for following courses are considered, A. Group A and B examinations conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) and the various Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs);
B. Group A and B examinations conducted by the State Public Service Commissions;C. Officers’ Grade examinations conducted by Banks, Insurance Companies and Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs)
D. Premier Entrance Examinations for admission in, Engineering (eg. IIT-JEE & AIEEE), (ii) Medical (eg. AIPMT),professional courses like Management (eg. CAT) and Law (eg. CLAT) and such other disciplines, that may be decided from time to time.
E. Finishing courses/Job oriented courses for employment in the private sector like IT, Bio-technology etc. in need of soft skill and other professional courses specified by the Government from time to time.
The last date for receipt of the application will be on the 21st of October , scrutiny of the application on the 30th and meeting of the seclection committee is on the 31st of October and the stipend to the seclect candidate will be on the 08th November.
The duly filled in proforma be sent in an envelope super scribing “Chief Minister’s Career Guidance Scheme” should be sent to the “Deputy Commissioner, East Garo Hills District, Williamnagar, Meghalaya, PIN-794111”.
