Shillong, July 10: The Directorate of Tourism, Government of Meghalaya received the Best Stall Award for decoration and projection in the Travel & Tourism Fair (TTF) 2013 held from 5th to 7th July 2013 at the Netaji Indoor Stadium, Kolkata.
The award which included a trophy and a certificate was given by Fairfest Media at the Press Meet held on the last day of the event. The award was received by the Tourist Officer, Kolkata alongwith the Liaison Officer, Meghalaya Tourism, Kolkata on behalf of the Department.
The promotion of Meghalaya Tourism for the stall at the Fair was based on Adventure Tourism in Meghalaya. The participants at the TTF 2013 were from 24 State Tourism Departments, 10 International participants and about 200 tour operators.(SP News)
