Jowai, May 25: The stand off between the FKJGP of Jaintia Hills Unit and the Star Cement Company Private Limited ended with the compromise that they have made few days back.
The problem that takes place was the FKJGP forcibly shut down the unit of the cement factory which compels the company to file with an FIR against them.
The FKJGP has put various demands from the company that they should comply with for the interest of the local people. Where the company, mention that certain demands that the FKJGP have made are not possible.
After a month long of logging few days back from the Company and the FKJGP Jaintia Unit has reconcile and the compromise between them was duly inform to the District Administration.(SP News)
