The GHSMC blame the Government for Turmoil in Garo Hills

Shillong, Sept 17: The Chairman of the garo Hills State Movement Committee Nikhman CH Marak in the press statement said that the MUA-II government should take the responsibility for the turmoil in Garo Hills.

The Chairman of the GHSMC in the press statement said that as the request comes from senior citizens, political leaders, church leaders, principals of various institutions etc. to call off the indefinite bandh starts from 18th Sept 2013, the executive committee
has decided to call off our indefinite bandh from 23rd sept 2013temporarily.
As the 18th sept 2013 is also set as a holiday by the
Goverment. we also decided to skip off the bandh on 18th sept 2013 as well and the bandh will be only on 19th sept 2013.
“We are not intends to suppress the people or disturb the students, but we are against the adamant attitude and dictator act of the Government. The MUA-II Goverment. is the worse Goverment. as of now and not seen such Government before in any part of India.
The increasing numbers of the insurgency in Garo Hills is because of Meghalaya Govt. and Govt. is the full responsible for every activity by the insurgency in Garo Hills.
The GHSMC demand that the  Deputy Commissioner of West Goro Hills Pravin Pakshi and S.P, West Garo Hills Mukesh Kr. Singh they should remove from Garo Hills to retain the peace.(SP News)
