Tura, August 17: Today at around 7.30 pm at night the Garo National Liberation Militant detain under Meghalaya Public Detention Act (MPDA) Kennedy T Sangma escape from Tura Jail by cutting the iron road of the window where he was kept.
The Superintendent of Police of West Garo Hills District M K Singh while speaking to SP News Agency Confirm that Kennedy T Sangma who belong to the GNLA militant group escape from Tura jail and the operation is on.
According to report received it was told that the conspiracy was hatched by seven under trial prisoners they cut one iron grill of their ward and tried to escape but 6 of them were detain while they were trying to climb the wall.
While Kennedy T Sangma a GNLA militant use the bes sheet and escape the combing operation is on to nap the escape person.(SP News)
