Shillong, Oct 10:The Meghalaya Home Minister said that the government has taken up all type of security measure during this puja celebration to see that the festival pass of peacefully.
The government will deal heavily with thus people who tried to disrupt the Durga Puja celebration in the state. She also appeal to all section of people that let peace prevail in the celebration of Durga Puja.
The Home minister inform that all the pandal will be place under tight security during the religious celebration. Any suspicious movement of people should inform the authirty so that preventive measure could be taken.
Home minister well come the decision of the NGOs to keep their agitation in abeyance during the puja celebration in the state. The government want to see that the celebration pass off peacefully.
From the home department who were present in the press conference include the DGP, P J Hanaman , KS Kropha principal secretary home, the SP and the DC of East Khasi Hills District.(SP News)
