Nongstoin, August 14: The Hynniewtrep People Social Organisation (HPSO) of West Khasi Hills District asked the state government that, the government should made know to the public the various scheme that they have for the people through media in the local language.
The president of the HPSO in the press released said that majority of the people of West Khasi Hills District do not know the English language, therefore it is necessary for the government to translate the skhim into the local language.
The common man in the West Khasi Hills District are not aware what the government has for the public since they do not understand what is written on the book let or in the office premises.
From the Organisation will try their best to visit all government offices in the West Khasi Hills District to enquire that scheme do the government has for the poor people of the District. (HPSO)
