Shillong, April 16: The minister in-charge of the District Council Affair Government of Meghalaya said that thought he has not see the request of the District Council to seek more time so that they can give their views on the proposed amendment to the Sixth Schedule of the constitution, the government will always consider it.
Speaking to SP News Agency, the minister said that the views from the three District Council is required after getting their views the government will examine and complied after that the government will have it’s own view and then they will recommend to the central government.
The minister said that till today he has not received any thing about the time seek by the Autonomous Council, it may be still with the department if they have asked for more time the letters should come to him.(SP News)
