Shillong, July 18: The president of the Party Mr HS Lyngdoh said that the HSPDP was form with one agenda to work for the Khasi community and the indigenous tribe of the state Meghalaya, the party is not just to fight election but to see that the khasi community should be protected.
He urged the people of the state to wake up and realized the danger that the khasi community is facing at this juncture. To safeguard is not the only duty of political part also the people has got the same responsibility.
The fire brand Vice president of the Hills State People Democratic Party (HSPDP) while address the party meeting of the East Khasi Hills District at Dinam Hall Shillong, said that the party is prepared to fight for the cause of the inside the Assembly and outside the Assembly.
He urges all the supporter of the party be prepared to take part in any agitation if the government dose not fulfills the people whished. The need of the hours is that Inner Line Permit should be implemented in the State to safeguard the Indigenous people of Meghalaya form the outsider.
In this meeting he has criticizes the Congress let Government in Meghalaya for not implementing the ILP in the state, he also allege that the Congress Government just implement what ever policy directed from the central government.
In these meeting the party has elected also the officer bear for the East Khasi Hills District, the MLA from Nongkren who is also the vice president of the party has been elected unanimously to be the president of the Khasi Hills District.(SP News)
