Shillong, April 29: The Inter-Media Publicity Coordination Committee (IMPCC) meeting was held at the office of the Directorate. of Field Publicity, Govt. of India, Shillong which was chaired by Dr. E. Pamei, Chairman, IMPCC and Director, DFP. It was attended by the heads of Central Media Units like AIR, DDK, PIB, DFP, DAVP and department like Soil & Water Conservation to discuss about the media strategies evolved in the State.
During the month, the Central Media Units gave publicity to themes like World Autism Day, Integrated Child Development Scheme, World Heritage Day, Bio-diversity Programmes, NESAC programmes, Safe Motherhood Day, International Mother Earth Day, Prevention of Blindness Week, Role of Youths in Communal Harmony, Global Warming, National Social Assistance programme, Direct Benefits Transfer Scheme, etc. (SP News)
